Camp offers retreats to churches, youth groups, and ministries year round in a lodge, cabins, and motels and hosts 5 weeks of Summer Camp in July and August. The Camp is located on Grounds composed of 395 acres with spacious lawns and mountain forest outside the village of Westbrookville in the Town of Deerpark in the Shawangunk Mountains in Orange County NY. Camp is a&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Camp Deerpark<\/a> property as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/campdeerpark.org\/es\/kb\/stewardship\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Stewardship is the acknowledgement and practice that everything belongs to God, and as his children in fellowship with Him and following the model of the Son, we are empowered to sustainably use all that is entrusted to us for the good of all He loves. Stewardship is one of Camp's Initiatives: four major area of focus across Program and Projects that are derived from our Mission &amp; Values. Camp applies Stewardship to human resources, financial &amp; material resources, and creation resources, and sees all these areas as intertwined in an integrated whole. Want to get involved? The immediate objective of the project is the creation of a digital map set that can be updated and maintained and published in various forms of media.  This map set will help:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>save time and resources in terms of the maintenance of the property<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>increase safety for maintenance, construction, and emergency response<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support dreaming and planning processes for further development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>encourage and support various uses of the property by different user groups.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outcomes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CDP Map Set:<\/strong> A complete &laquo;as is&raquo; map set of all current features of the entire property including all utilities and infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Updated Site Plan: <\/strong>develop a site plan for the next improvements to the property for board and community approval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Usage Maps:<\/strong> We&rsquo;ll create maps of different kinds according to use for people better enjoy Camp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project Pages<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p>How to Get Involved In MMP<br><a href=\"https:\/\/campdeerpark.org\/es\/kb\/map-making-software\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Map Making Software lists the software Camp uses to make and manage maps, especially as part of the Map Makers Project. Inkscape Inkscape is a free, open-source vector graphics editor and drawing program that can create Scaled Vector Graphics (SVG) and Post-script Document Format (PDF) files, among others. Inkscape is currently used on printable and user-friendly Camp maps.
