Camp offers retreats to churches, youth groups, and ministries year round in a lodge, cabins, and motels and hosts 5 weeks of <a href=\"https:\/\/campdeerpark.org\/es\/kb\/summer-camp\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Summer Camp is a sleep-away Christian Camping Program of Camp Deerpark for children ages 8-13 and teens ages 14-16. Summer Camp for children typically runs Sun-Fri for 5 consecutive weeks in July and August with children attending any number of weeks and returning home every weekend. The council is composed of both Atlantic Coast Conference churches of Mennonite Church USA and the NYC LMC District and meets quarterly in-person hosted by member churches. The council also holds an Annual Convention for all participating churches and their members &mdash; hosted bi-annually at Camp Deerpark.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">NYC Council of Mennonite Churches<\/a> (NYCCMC). Owner churches may recommend church members as candidates to the Camp Board of Directors, subject to a approval process detailed in the By-laws. In the past, Camp has sought to maintain a majority of board seats held by members of Owner Churches.
