Includes refrigerators, food warmers, multi-rack toaster oven, commercial dishwasher, and service ware. Loving Care: Motel-style suite with dedicated full bath, AC, and mini-fridge. The main goal of the project is to create a <a href=\"https:\/\/campdeerpark.org\/es\/kb\/summer-camp\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Summer Camp is a sleep-away Christian Camping Program of Camp Deerpark for children ages 8-13 and teens ages 14-16. Summer Camp for children typically runs Sun-Fri for 5 consecutive weeks in July and August with children attending any number of weeks and returning home every weekend. This framework uses the Belong &gt; Become &gt; Believe progression for human&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Summer Camp<\/a> Village of Cabins and a multi-use meeting space which would also serve as lodging and meeting space for year-round guest groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project included two major <a href=\"https:\/\/campdeerpark.org\/es\/kb\/stewardship\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Stewardship is the acknowledgement and practice that everything belongs to God, and as his children in fellowship with Him and following the model of the Son, we are empowered to sustainably use all that is entrusted to us for the good of all He loves. Stewardship is one of Camp's Initiatives: four major area of focus across Program and Projects that are derived from our Mission &amp; Values. On-demand Water Heaters were selected to save energy with largely week-end only usage.  A 23 kW solar panel array was added to the roof of the Promise Center to offset most of the electric needs of all Promise Woods buildings.    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/campdeerpark.org\/es\/kb\/forestry-stewardship\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Forestry Stewardship is a program under Camp Deerpark's Stewardship Initiative tasked with managing the approximately 360 acres of forest owned by the Camp. Like all Stewardship programming, Forestry stewardship sees humans as part of creation that have a unique God-ordained role in managing living things and resources according to his way and will. The current program was founded in 1997 by members of the North Bronx Mennonite Owner Church and friends who began to advise Camp on sustainable practices informed by work on community forest management by Dr. Chuck Peters (see this history).
