Guest Retreat Day

Guest Retreat Day (GRD) is a central and important metric for the most basic unit of service at Camp Deerpark. Basically, any day where a person is a paying guest, program participant, camper, or volunteer having meaningful engagement counts as a guest retreat day. Typically, «nights of arrival» where guests arrive for a few hours the night previous to scheduled activities are not counted as a GRD. GRDs are recorded by the Guest Services coordinator based on information on retreat group bills and volunteer work group sheets.
