Map Makers Project
Map Makers Project (MMP) is an effort to map all features of the Camp Deerpark property as part of the Stewardship Initiative. The immediate objective of the project is the creation of a digital map set that can be updated and maintained and published in various forms of media. This map set will help:
- save time and resources in terms of the maintenance of the property
- increase safety for maintenance, construction, and emergency response
- support dreaming and planning processes for further development
- encourage and support various uses of the property by different user groups.
Outcomes
- CDP Map Set: A complete “as is” map set of all current features of the entire property including all utilities and infrastructure.
- Updated Site Plan: develop a site plan for the next improvements to the property for board and community approval.
- Usage Maps: We’ll create maps of different kinds according to use for people better enjoy Camp.
