Camp is a big place and we have some big plans. But this raises a big question: Just where is everything? In the past, we asked around and maybe somebody would know. Now, we’d like to get all that information down on a map. We’ll use it to maintain the grounds, plan maintenance projects, and dream about the future of our home away from the city.
We’d like to invite volunteers to join our staff on a team to map out Camp, discuss the usage of our property, and plan for future projects. Involvement could be in-person or online!
Outcomes
- CDP Map Set: A complete “as is” map set of all current features of the entire property including all utilities and infrastructure.
- Updated Site Plan: develop a site plan for the next improvements to the property for board and community approval.
- Usage Maps: We’ll create maps of different kinds according to use for people to better enjoy Camp.
How to get involved
- Plan A Mapping Trip: bring your family, youth group, crew, or just yourself and help us map out Camp. We’ll hike around, do some campfire devos (topics below), and have fun getting things done.
