Currently, Cabin 3 has services near the future building site — namely water and LP Gas. Both are in capped lines in holes covered by old pallets and scrap roof metal. Neither will over-winter well in the current state, especially not the water line that will be subject to freezing.

      Options:

      • Bury the lines and mark them for future excavation and connection.
      • Run the water line to a curb-cock and shut the line off with a new empty stub-out ready to go to the building.

The first option’s downside is the labor that will be required to dig up the lines in the future. The second option’s downside is expense now and also the likelihood the lines will be damaged in the course of construction.
