Homecoming Tent Placement

Operations raised the issue that our current mowing pattern in the Spruce Lodge Lawn East of the Basket Ball court may not allow for installing the Homecoming Festival tent. The open area is approximately 50 feet from the tall grass. The tent is 40’x100′ and we should estimate another 8′ on each side is needed for the pegs and straps, plus another 6’on each side for walking paths. This means that we should have ~68 feet in the tent area and should instruct the mower to remove 15-20′ of the tall grass in this area.
