Administrative Action
Administrative Action is any policy set in place by Administration based on their powers and responsibilities. While Administrative Actions may be set by the Administration’s authority, they are typically reviewed and affirmed by the Board of Directors through discussion without a vote. This differs from Board Actions which are policy set in place by the authority of the majority vote of the board which cannot be repealed, appended, or amended without similar vote-based action. Since an Administrative Action is set in place by the Administration, the interpretation of the policy is the responsibility of the Administration and may only be formally opposed through Grievance Process.
